The Tomblets™ Ordering Process
Stage One
- Login or create a new customer record
This is where you enter all your own details.
N.B. These details are not put into our records until you confirm your order. You are not committing yourself to anything at this stage.
Stage Two
- Choose your photograph style and type face.
This is where you enter what style of photograph and typeface you would like.
- Choose your inscription or inscriptions.
This is where you enter what inscription or inscriptions you would like, both on the front and on the back of your Tomblet.
- Choose if you want to purchase any repeat Tomblets.
If you wish to buy more than one Tomblet, say for family or for close friends, this is where you specify how many you would like.
If you are buying more than one Tomblet, you will also be given the opportunity, on an additional page which will appear automatically after this page, to add or repeat an inscription on the backs of your additional
Tomblet(s).
N.B. Again, none of these details are put into our records until you confirm your order. So you are still not committing yourself to anything at this stage.
Stage Three
- Choose where you want your Tomblet(s) sent.
This is where you say where you want your Tomblet(s) to be sent. To your home (the billing address), or to another address or, in the case of more than one Tomblet, addresses.
N.B. Again these details are not put into our records until you confirm your order. So you are still not committing yourself to anything at this stage.
Stage Four
- Confirm all your order details.
This is where you are given the opportunity to check all of the details of your order.
If there is anything you want to change, simply click on the "change order" button and go through the stages again, making whatever changes you wish.
If everything is correct, please read the Photograph Copyright Statement (a copy of this is set out below) and, having made sure that you are able to comply click on the "agree" button.
Click the ‘confirm’ button to confirm your order.
N.B. This is the point at which you are able to finally confirm your order and commit yourself to purchasing a Tomblet. Even so, you still have the cooling off period of 7 working days during which you may cancel your order without giving any reason. A full refund will be given if you have paid any money.
Stage Five
- How do you want to pay for your Tomblet.
There are a number of ways to pay for your Tomblet. You can pay online, or send a cheque or phone us with your credit card details.
If you choose to pay online, you will be forwarded to a secure page at WorldPay and asked for your credit card details.
After which you will be forwarded to the photograph instructions page to...
- Upload or send your chosen photograph.
Sending a photograph from your computer is an easy matter of selecting which photograph you want to use... and then clicking on the ‘send’ button.
If you are ordering by post or if you don’t have a digital version of your picture, simply send us the print or negative (with a print out of your order - which can also be printed at any time later, simply by logging on to the Tomblet web site again and clicking on the ‘Show my orders’ button). We will scan it here and then return it safely to you when we send you your Tomblet.
Your Tomblet will be sent to you within 28 days of our receiving your photograph and payment.
Photograph Copyright Statement
In submitting this order you are confirming your consent to the use of the image you have provided, or other necessary image, for the process of engraving it into stone and you also confirm that you either (i) have the consent of the person that owns the copyright in the image or (ii) are capable of giving that consent yourself.
N.B. If the photograph you intend using was taken by a professional photographer, the photographer may well still own the copyright, even though the photograph has long since been paid for. A telephone call is all that is usually required to get their permission to use it.

Security
Security is probably one of the most significant concerns for both the shopper and the retailer during an online transaction. Collins Clayton & Co. use the WorldPay payment system to ensure maximum security and peace of mind for our customers.
In reality an online transaction is probably more secure than a card transaction in a shop or conducted over the telephone or by fax, as the information transmitted online is highly encrypted using complicated logarithm combinations.
The WorldPay payment system uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, our public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that both the shopper and retailer can have confidence that nobody can impersonate WorldPay to obtain confidential information.
Transaction Encryption
The transfer of the purchase details from the retailers site to Worldpay are encapsulated using our own encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Security for the Shopper
Any communication between the shopper and WorldPay is also encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the shopper's browser using TLS or 128 Bit SSL. Shopper are also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuers. The card issuers provides the right for shopper to dispute a transaction if the goods/services did not arrive or if the card was used fraudulently.
